The Isle of Man is famous for being home to the TT, the annual motorcycle event that takes place in May/June. The race attracts almost 700,000 people per year and is responsible for a major part of the islands tourism. The races have a week of practice and then a week of competing. It is often known as one of the most dangerous racing events in the world.
The Isle of Man isn’t all about the TT though. The island offers over 192 restaurants and is a haven for foodies.
In addition to this, the island is also home to cycling, running, hiking and surfing, with the local radio station offers daily surf reports.
